Connie McMillan, PT - Connie is the owner and founder of Therapy Solutions since 1999.
I am a graduate of the University of Colorado in 1966 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. My background includes initiating physical therapy in the nursing homes, home health, was Director of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy at Wyoming Medical Center from 1988 to 1994 working primarily in acute care, wound therapy and rehab. Since starting Therapy Solutions, an outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic, in 1999 we have gone from one therapist to a staff of 12 (8 Physical Therapists, and 2 Occupational Therapists and supportive staff). My credentials include certifications in Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Strain/Counterstrain, 3 week certification program in Neuromuscular Development Training, Lymphedema, Aquatic Therapy and I worked numerous years with wound care at Wyoming Medical Center.
Michael Jon Bernd, PT- Micahel graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1975 with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. He then moved to Casper, WY and worked in the hospitals impatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings. In 1983 he graduated from the University of WI- Lacrosse with a Master’s degree in Adult Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation. He then returned to Wyoming and was instrumental in mentoring facilities around Wyoming initiate their own cardiac rehabilitation programs. Michael then worked as a traveling P.T. within the United States practicing in different facilities gaining many eclectic experiences. Since 1990 he has remained in Casper and has developed multiple manual, “hand-on”, therapy skills which he is utilizing along with the traditional therapy methodology in his treatment approach. Michael has been a member of Therapy Solutions team since 2000.
Mark Plessman, OTR/L – Mark Graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1992 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. He began his career in Occupational Therapy after graduating from the University f North Dakota in 1995.
Mark is Wyoming native who moved back to Wyoming from Colorado three years ago bringing his extensive experience in long term care, pediatrics, outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and acute hospital rehabilitation. While working in Colorado, Mark became a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator (FCE) and developed a successful FCE program at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO. He also has experience in manual therapies including myofascial release and muscle energy techniques of the cervical and thoracic spine and ribs. Mark’s areas of expertise include rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.
Kacey O’Brien, MPT – Kacey graduated from North Illinois University in 2006 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy, and shortly after made the move from Illinois to Wyoming. Previous to this she worked as an aquatic physical therapy aide with mentally and physically disabled children at a children’s development center. Since joining the staff at Therapy Solutions, Kacey had been expanding her manual therapy skills through continuing education courses to provide the best treatment she can to her patients. Utilizing the skills she learned at the children’s development center and through school, Kacey also enjoys working with children of all ages. She also loves being in the pool and educating her patients about all the benefits of aquatic therapy. When Kacey is not at work she is busy planning her upcoming wedding, exploring Wyoming, hiking, water skiing, and snow skiing.
DeAnna Reish OTA - DeAnna received her education from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. She has been practicing as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Casper, WY for over 20 years. During this time she has worked in a variety of settings including Acute Care Rehab, Long Term Care, Outpatient Rehab, Pediatrics, Developmental Disabilities, and Home Health. Her areas of interest include Stroke and Neuro Rehab, Upper Extremity injuries, Head Injury, and Aquatic Therapy. In her free time DeAnna enjoys camping, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time wither her family.
Kelly Bridger, PTA, CPI - Kelly began her career as a Physical Therapist Assistant following graduation from Central Wyoming College in 1999. She became a Certified Pilates Instructor in 2003. Kelly has experience in several areas of physical therapy from working in long term care, acute hospital rehabilitation, handicapped adult facilities, pediatrics, home health and the majority of her experience with outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. She also has experience with manual therapy including muscle energy techniques and myofascial release, Pilates/core concepts and postural restoration. When Kelly has free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, running, many other seasonal outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
We AreTherapy Solutions is a member of the Casper Chamber of Commerce. We also sponser many activities in the community such Calvary arena football, co-ed softball leagues, Lion's Club, and the Casper Rockies. Being a part of the community we live in is important to us and we strive to be good citizens.
